This piece is painted in response to the Tasmanian native landscape, the land of the devastated Palawa people. Walking through this area provided me with inspiration and made me wonder at the beauty of the environment and the history it speaks of . The work is layered and evocative of bark colouring, trunks and tree limbs. A warm and softly hued work.
